Today, Saturday July 24th, 2010, my longtime business partner, creative collaborator and best friend, Dave Dorman, was presented with hte prestigious Inkpot Award before his presentation at the San Diego Comic Con International.
The Inkpot Award, bestowed annually since 1974 by Comic-Con International, is given to professionals in comic book, comic strip, animation, science fiction, and related pop-culture fields, who are guests of that organization's yearly multigenre fan convention, commonly known as Comic-Con or the San Diego Comic-Con.
Congratulations Dave.

ROLLING THUNDER: THE ART OF DAVE DORMAN RELEASED
Desperado Press and IDW have teamed up to produced an amazing volume of my longtime friend and business partner Dave Dorman's work. The 300+ page hardcover collection naturally features some of his better know STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES pieces but it also contains an amazing collection of art not commonly seen. The book is being released this weekend at San Diego Comic Con where Dave is this year's Artist Guest of Honor. The book is currently available at www.amazon.com as a hardcover or a deluxe signed and numbered hardcover. By the way, I wrote the introduction.
